Introduction

Do you teach in a networked computer room?

Classroom Q&A is an educational conferencing software package that transmits questions, images & answers over school computer networks. It comprises of a Teacher program and a Student program which allow classroom comunication via the school computer network.

Teachers can ask their class a question & have everyone select/type an answer. All of the answers appear on the teachers computer for discussion/marking/recording. Another main feature is the use of 'QIZ' files. These are pre-written question sets which can be downloaded from the internet or authored using the included 'QIZ Editor'.

Use with Interactive Whiteboards/Projectors
Whole class teaching with ICT has taken hold in many schools thanks to a rise in quality and a drop in price of the data projector - a device that takes the computer display and projects it onto any wall or screen so that the whole class may see and share.

With Classroom Q&A you can open up discussion of answers. The display of answers on the teachers screen helps to illustrate the range of acceptable answers to a question and also highlight common misconceptions.

The barchart view displayed 'big screen' can be an effective visual tool to promote further discussion in survey/voting senarios.
